Is Martial Law coming to a city near you?

The oppression the Colonists felt as everything they worked for was snatched up by England is the same gut wrenching nausea that freedom-loving Americans are experiencing as Obama uses the financial crisis to impose his socialist agenda.

We should all be very concerned about Obama's plan for a “National Civilian Security Force” which he envisioned as being as big and well-funded as the U.S. military. That would put it somewhere in the vicinity of more than a million.  How would you like to see several hundred of Obama's heavily armed goons goose-stepping around your hometown unhindered by the posse Comitatus act which only applies to the military?

To assist this "Security Force", Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) introduced a bill in February (H.R. 645) to construct no fewer than six “national emergency centers”.  That sounds a lot like the camps the Nazis set up initially to imprison their political enemies.  Of course they found other uses for them later, like killing Jews.

This administration is pushing "We-the-People" harder each and every day toward civil war or revolution.  If "we-the-people" decide to revolt, the military base internment camps (national emergency centers) are already in place and more are being built.

If we succeed in preventing the formation of the "National Civilian Security Force', Obama will have to declare Martial Law, (because of Posse Comitatus) which he has the ability to do.  The military has, recently been trained in putting down domestic insurrection and going house to house to check for insurgents.  As a matter of fact, they were illegally used recently (in Alabama I think) and the last I heard, no one knows who gave the order.

Meanwhile, Obama’s Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy F. Geithner wants more and more power to regulate everything in the nation’s financial sector.

So, what do we do?  Are Tea Parties enough?  The answer is “they are a place to start”.  They are a way to draw national attention to the matters we are deeply concerned about.  Some very liberal news organizations are starting to think out loud about the some of Obama’s moves. Statements like “Your plan is radical”, and “Are you punch-drunk?” are flowing out of the same mouths that just a few months ago were worshiping "the Messiah".

The GOP is also beginning to find its voice again, and a check of the world reaction to this president’s first few months in office is encouraging in that some more seasoned world leaders are aghast at Obama's incompetence.

This is not just a conspiracy theory ranting.  One way or another the storm is coming and it’s the biggest in this country’s history.  A lot of people realize this but are not publicly speaking about it.

The bottom line is; this radical agenda must be stopped while it can still be done peacefully.  It's no secret that sales of guns and ammunition have skyrocketed recently.  There are a couple of bills in Congress to curtail gun sales but in the meantime, citizens are arming themselves.

 Please join the Tea Party

There's a storm abrewin'. What happens when good, responsible people keep quiet?   Washington has forgotten they work for us. We don't work for them. Throwing good money after bad is NOT the answer. I am sick of the midnight, closed door sessions to come up with a plan. I am sick of Congress raking CEO's over the coals while they, themselves, have defaulted on their taxes. I am sick of the bailed out companies having lavish vacations and retreats on my dollar.

I am sick of being told it is MY responsibility to rescue people that, knowingly, bought more house than they could afford.  I am sick of being made to feel it is my patriotic duty to pay MORE taxes. I, like all of you, am a responsible citizen. I pay my taxes. I live on a budget and I don't ask someone else to carry the burden for poor decisions I may make.  I have emailed my congressmen and senators asking them to NOT vote for the stimulus package as it was written without reading it first. No one listened. They voted for it, pork and all.

O.K. folks, here it is. You may think you are just one voice and what you think won't make a difference. Well, yes it will and YES, WE CAN!! If you are disgusted and angry with the way Washington is handling our taxes.

If you are fearful of the fallout from the reckless spending of BILLIONS to bailout and "stimulate" without accountability and responsibility then we need to become ONE, LOUD VOICE THAT CAN BE HEARD FROM EVERY CITY, TOWN, SUBURB AND HOME IN AMERICA.
There is a growing protest to demand that Congress, the President and his
cabinet LISTEN to us, the American Citizens. What is being done in
Washington is NOT the way to handle the economic free fall.

So, here's the plan. On April 1, 2009, all Americans are asked to send a TEABAG to Washington, D.C. You do not have to enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire.  Just a TEABAG.
Many cities are organizing protests. If you simply search, "New American Tea Party", several sites will come up. If you aren't the 'protester' type, simply make your one voice heard with a TEABAG.

Your one voice will become a roar when joined with millions of others that feel the same way.

Yes, something needs to be done but the lack of confidence as shown by the steady decline in the stock market speaks volumes.

This was not my idea. I visited the sites of the 'New American Tea Party' and an online survey showed over 90% of thousands said they would send the teabag on April 1.  Why, April 1?? We want them to reach Washington by April 15. Will you do it?  I will.

Send it to;
The White House
1600
Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, D.C. 20500.

E-mail this to everyone in your address book.
Visit the website below for more information about the 'New American Tea Party'.
I would encourage everyone to go ahead and get the envelope ready to mail, then just drop it in the mail April 1. Can't guarantee what the postage will be by then, it is going up as we speak, but have your envelope ready.

What will this cost you? A little time and a 40 something cent stamp.

What could you receive in benefits? Maybe, just maybe, our elected officials will start to listen to the people. Take out the Pork. Tell us how the money is being spent.

We want TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

Remember, the money will be spent over the next 4-5 years. It is not too late.

 WAKE UP CALL

U.S. Seeks Expanded Power to Seize Firms

By Binyamin Appelbaum

 and David Cho
Washington Post Staff Writers
Tuesday, March 24, 2009; A01

The Obama administration is considering asking Congress to give the Treasury secretary unprecedented powers to initiate the seizure of non-bank financial companies, such as large insurers, investment firms and hedge funds, whose collapse would damage the broader economy, according to an administration document.

The government at present has the authority to seize only banks.

Giving the Treasury secretary authority over a broader range of companies would mark a significant shift from the existing model of financial regulation, which relies on independent agencies that are shielded from the political process. The Treasury secretary, a member of the president's Cabinet, would exercise the new powers in consultation with the White House, the Federal Reserve and other regulators, according to the document.

The administration plans to send legislation to Capitol Hill this week. Sources cautioned that the details, including the Treasury's role, are still in flux.

Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner is set to argue for the new powers at a hearing today on Capitol Hill about the furor over bonuses paid to executives at American International Group, which the government has propped up with about $180 billion in federal aid. Administration officials have said that the proposed authority would have allowed them to seize AIG last fall and wind down its operations at less cost to taxpayers.

The administration's proposal contains two pieces. First, it would empower a government agency to take on the new role of systemic risk regulator with broad oversight of any and all financial firms whose failure could disrupt the broader economy. The Federal Reserve is widely considered to be the leading candidate for this assignment. But some critics warn that this could conflict with the Fed's other responsibilities, particularly its control over monetary policy.

The government also would assume the authority to seize such firms if they totter toward failure.

Besides seizing a company outright, the document states, the Treasury Secretary could use a range of tools to prevent its collapse, such as guaranteeing losses, buying assets or taking a partial ownership stake. Such authority also would allow the government to break contracts, such as the agreements to pay $165 million in bonuses to employees of AIG's most troubled unit.

The Treasury secretary could act only after consulting with the president and getting a recommendation from two-thirds of the Federal Reserve Board, according to the plan.

Geithner plans to lay out the administration's broader strategy for overhauling financial regulation at another hearing on Thursday.

The authority to seize non-bank financial firms has emerged as a priority for the administration after the failure of investment house Lehman Brothers, which was not a traditional bank, and the troubled rescue of AIG.

"We're very late in doing this, but we've got to move quickly to try and do this because, again, it's a necessary thing for any government to have a broader range of tools for dealing with these kinds of things, so you can protect the economy from the kind of risks posed by institutions that get to the point where they're systemic," Geithner said last night at a forum held by the Wall Street Journal.

The powers would parallel the government's existing authority over banks, which are exercised by banking regulatory agencies in conjunction with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Geithner has cited that structure as the model for the government's plans.

Now the rest of the story.

The Democrats forced the failure of the banking industry by forcing them to make bad home loans.  WHY? So the government could gain control.

The Government is forcing the failure of the automotive industry in two ways.   First, with high corporate taxes.   Second, higher and higher wages, with the help of the Union.  That's the reason they want to take away the secret vote, to give more power to the union.

WHY?  So the government can gain control.

The government wants to take over the oil companies, as this link proves.
In Their own words

They will succeed eventually.  They have the power to limit exploration. (That’s the main purpose of the "global warming lie".) They also have the power of the corporate tax, and they keep giving themselves new powers by simply ignoring the Constitution.

The government will soon control all hospitals, all doctors, all pharmaceutical companies, etc, etc.  All under the name of "universal health care".

If you still don't believe the Democrats are converting this country to socialism then you are a hopeless fool and you deserve what you are about to get.

 More about POLAR BEARS

The Arctic sea ice has grown more on a percentage basis this winter than it has since 1979.

The number of polar bears has risen 25 percent in the past decade. There are 15,000 of them in the Arctic now, where 10 years ago there were 12,000.

"The most recent global warming that began in 1977 is over, and the Earth has entered a new phase of global cooling," says Don Easterbrook, professor of geology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, confidently. He maintains a switch in Pacific Ocean currents "assures about three decades of global cooling. New solar data showing unusual absence of sun spots and changes in the sun’s magnetic field suggest ... the present episode of global cooling may be more severe than the cooling of 1945 to 1977."

Climatologist Joe D’Aleo of the International Climate and Environmental Change Assessment Project, says new data "show that in five of the last seven decades since World War II, including this one, global temperatures have cooled while carbon dioxide has continued to rise."

"The data suggest cooling not warming in Earth's future," he says.

In other words, the sky is not falling...
